Maple Syrup!

I recently discovered Holy Cow’s delicious maple syrup. They source it from Baird Farm in Vermont, a family owned business since 1918 with 11,000 wild maple trees. Apparently the sap flows best from the tree in good frosts and sunny days (which makes me imagine sugar maples might go well in Central Otago....need to add to my tree wish list 🍁!) With my steel cut oats from Harraways and a good dollop of cream, the maple syrup is scrumptious - and supports a local business bringing specialty products to us here ☺️
